As if coffee lovers needed another reason to drink coffee, then along comes International Coffee Day. What? There’s a Coffee Day?! It’s true. September 29th promotes the pleasure and reported benefits of coffee.


A lot of people drink coffee because of its delicious roasted flavor and aromatic scent. In addition to coffee’s delightful characteristics, it helps perk us up and feel energized to be able to handle anything that may come our way during the day. Because of this, coffee shops are now abundant and easily accessed in seemingly any city.

But did you know that coffee also provides a lot of health benefits as well? While you take a sip of your favorite brew, not only do you energize yourself, you may be providing your body with various nutrients which keep your body in tip-top shape.

Here are some of the perks coffee brings to your system:
